At 6439 meters, Illimani is considered as Bolivia's second highest mountain. It has five summits and it is also the highest point in the Cordillera Real Range. Illimani is a majestic mountain which can be viewed at La Paz.

How to Get There

From La Paz, you can reach Puente Roto, the place for the first camp, through any of the two approaches.

Best Time to Climb

The climbing season in Bolivia is from May until September. Conditions in August is generakky windy. On the other hand, expect hot weather and rain if you climb during the months of November until March.
