Long distance backpackers and adventure racers rejoice! The Caiman is the answer to total protection with minimal weight. A featherweight Gore-Tex XCR top section and a single layer of coated Cordura in the foot section lighten up the fabric components considerably. OR's also contoured the burly Cordura foot section to target the best protection where it's needed most. A narrowed down Velcro® brand fasteners strip on the front opening but it still allows easy entry. The Caimans are plenty tough for long miles on or off the trail.
