The ASMSU Outdoor Recreation Program sponsors an Advanced Avalanche Hazard Evaluation Workshop, which consists of two evening sessions and one Saturday field session. Course content includes: snowpack metamorphism, the mechanics of avalanche failure and fracture, and decision-making problems.
