Wilson Peak
At 14,017 feet, Wilson Peak is the third highest peak in the Lizard Head Wilderness Area. Wilson Peak together with the other 2 fourteener Mount Wilson and El Diente offer an excellent training climb for those who inspire other peaks. The peaks best views are on Highway 45 and is usually found in pictures, calendars and even on some advertisements.
The best time to climb Wilson Peak is July through September.
