Torreys Peak
Aside from Grays Peak, Torreys Peak is the other popular Colorado Fourteener which lies on the Continental Divide. This mountain offers several routes for climbers with different skill levels.
With a height of 4349 meters, Torreys Peak is a popular destination since it is near the interstate and it can be climbed after reaching the summit of Grays Peak. Bagging two peaks in one day is a huge achievement for many climbers.
Torreys Peak is usually crowded, particulary on weekends during summer.
Best Time to Climb
Just like in many mountains, Torreys Peak can be climbed all year. Conditions are favorable from June to October. Take note of weather conditions, particularly the snowfall in the area.
