Mount Sneffels
One of the most beautiful mountains in Colorado is Mount Sneffels. It is located in the Mount Sneffels Wilderness of the northern San Juan Mountains. Sneffels is an inviting peak for many visitors with marvelous collection of spires, pinnacles and symmetry.
It is a popular destination and one of the easier frequently climbed 14ers to finish in a day. Sneffels can be climbed year-round and has a lot of routes that offers a wide variety of challenges. The easiest route is excellent for introducing hikers to the next phase of their climbing experiences. Late February through mid June are good for snow climbs.
