Best Time to Climb
Most climbers go to Mount Lincoln during summer.
Weather conditions change rapidly in Mount Lincolc, or any Colorado 14er in general. Thus, sufficient knowledge and enough preparation can help you cope with the constant changes. It is wise to start early so that you will be able to reach the summit early and be back in the valley in the afternoon. Moreover, lightning storms are common in Colorado, so take the necessary precautions before climbing.
