THURSDAY, 13 JANUARY 2011
CHICAGO, IL -- This season, Chicago-area physician, Dr. Ron Silver, demonstrated his commitment to the Jewish community and to the Chicago Jewish High School by climbing
Mount Kilimanjaro in his 'Climbing New Heights for Jewish Education' benefit event. To demonstrate their commitment to their clients, Chicago estate lawyers, Peck Bloom (www.peckbloom.com), helped fund Silver's climb.
A Chicago Jewish High School alumni parent of three, Silver made the arduous climb to the pinnacle of the African peak to recognize the school's visionary leaders and raise funds for tuition assistance programs.
"Peck Bloom is so pleased to sponsor Dr. Silver in recognition of his tireless efforts to prepare for this life-changing event, and in support of the incredible accomplishments and programs of Chicagoland Jewish High School," said Peck Bloom partner, Ken Bloom.
During his training and throughout the climb, fans followed Dr. Silver's progress on Facebook, giving moral support and pledging donations by the foot. The community followed step by step as Silver and his trainer Gabriel Viti traveled up the 20,000 foot African peak. The record of the climb is recorded online at: www.facebook.com/RonSilverClimb.
Partners Ken Bloom and Kerry Peck relate to the passion that their client Dr. Silver feels toward his cause. A boutique Chicago area law firm, the partners share the same dedicated passion for each of their clients.
"As estate planning attorneys, we feel very connected with our client's life goals and ideals. When our client's are passionate about a goal, we want to help them achieve it," said Bloom.
