Summer Destinations In India

India is an amazingly beautiful country with varied climatic and geographical conditions. Summers are truly unbearable in India which mostly begins in the month of March and ends in November. To hideaway from the scorching sun rays and to get some relaxation, both national and international tourists looks forward to those cool retreats in India which can offer them some relief.

Most of the people, irrespective of their ages, waits anxiously for the summer vacations. Summer vacation is a time to relax and unwind in a cool and pleasant atmosphere, shedding the boredom of day to day life. India has numerous summer destinations which has many attractive things to offer. These places has a long list of activities to captivate the tourists and to make their vacation a memorable one.

These places are popular for many adventure sports like trekking on the hilly terrains, mountaineering, white water rafting in the wild mountainous rivers, hiking etc. Some of the famous summer destinations in India are Dalhousie, Shimla, Manali, Nainital , Mussoorie, Dehradun etc.
