Climbers Recognized at AAC Mountain Fellowships

The American Alpine Club announced the winners in the ACC Mountain Fellowships.
The winners, who received at least $400, are Crystal Davis-Robbins, Colin Haley, Ian Nicholson, Graham Zimmerman, Clint Helander, and Sevve Stember.
Davis-Robbins, 25, was recognized for a new route on the west face of Aguja de la Silla in the Fitz Roy Massif of Patagonia, while Haley, 23, attempted the Torre Traverse in Patagonia. Nicholson, 24, and Zimmerman, 21, attempted the first ascent of the west face of Kichatna Spire in Alaska. On the other hand, Helander, 23, attempted the first ascent of Peak 9304 in the Revelation Mountains. Lastly, Stember, 23, made the first ascent in the Cochamo Valley of Chile.
