Mountaineer to Climb Everest for Cancer Awareness

A mountaineer from South Africa is planning to climb the infamous Mt. Everest this coming March 2008 in order to raise R1 million for the Cancer Association of South Africa.
Robby Kojetin has climbed three of the seven summits of the world and now aims to conquer another mountain, this time with the humble intention of raising awareness about cancer.
Kojetin is the brain behind the initiative, Climb of Hope: Climb High for those who Can’t. All proceeds from the said campaign will benefit the Cancer Association of South Africa.
Aside from simply climbing Everest, the said mountaineer also intends to bring a 4cm x 5cm banner to the summit. The said banner contains 2880 blocks available for advertising for only R500.
