	The National Mountain Centre for Scotland just launched SpotChecks, a new and free downloadable quiz about avalanche awareness. 	British Team Creates New Route at Dangchezhengla
	A four-man British team made the second attempt to climb Yangmolong in Western Sichuan. Steve Hunt, veteran Himalayan climber Dick Isherwood, Peter Rowat and the expedition organizer Dave Wynne-Jones explored the northern approaches of Yangmolong. 	All-women Team Creates New Line on Mt. Vinson
	The Omega Foundation team survived a storm and established a new 1200-meter mixed route on Mt. Vinson, Antartica's tallest peak at 4892 meters. An all-female team established the first route on Mt.
