Application for Bill Wallace Grant Now Open


TUESDAY, 27 NOVEMBER 2007

The application for the Bill Wallace grant's ‘Go and do it’ is now open until January 15 of next year.

The grant offers up to £1000 funding to individuals who will set up explorations to wild places. It is supporting climbers who dream to travel and want to contribute to the conservation of the environment. Wallace, during his days, was a traveler and climber.

Accepted applicants will be announced at the end of February by the Bill Wallace Grant committee.

The 'Go and do it' grant was established by the John Muir Trust which Wallace had supported together with the Scottish mountaineering.
