Ski Mountaineering Trip Kicks Off in South Georgia |

A French mountaineering team joined a French expatriate to engage in a sea-supported ski mountaineering expedition to an island in South Georgia. The team is composed of Philippe Batoux, Manu Cauchy (a.k.a. Doc Vertical) and Lionel Daudet. The French expatriate Isabelle Autissier is a famous sailor. The expedition will continue until early January.

Two Teams Complete Patagonian Traverse |

Two teams completed the second and third ascents of a bold Patagonian traverse in almost three days.

Application for Bill Wallace Grant Now Open |

The application for the Bill Wallace grant's ‘Go and do it’ is now open until January 15 of next year.
The grant offers up to £1000 funding to individuals who will set up explorations to wild places. It is supporting climbers who dream to travel and want to contribute to the conservation of the environment. Wallace, during his days, was a traveler and climber.
