Climber Released Music Album on Mount Qomolangma

Local media reported that a Nepali youth had reached Mount Qomolangma three times with a different world record on each occasion.
Tashi Lakpa is the youngest climber in the world without oxygen when he climbed Qomolangma last May 16 of 2004. He then climbed again last May 31 of 2005 still without oxygen and released a new book entitled "Mero Dash" (My Country). Tashi attempted to climb Mount Qomolangma for the third time on May 16, 2006 but had to retreat from an altitude of 8,800 meters due to the lack of the oxygen.
Just recently, Tashi launched his first musical album entitled "Sherpini Kanchhi" (Sherpa girl) at the summit on May 17, 2007 which includes a total of eight Nepali folk pop songs that features the voice of some Nepali musicians. He wrote and composed all the songs in the album. According to him, he's happy to be recognized as a climber but he also wanted to be a famous musician.
