Sir Edmund Hillary Hospitalized after a Fall


WEDNESDAY, 25 APRIL 2007

The famous mountaineering legend that is known for being the first man to scale Mount Everest was reported to be in Auckland hospital after a fall.

New Zealand's living legend Sir Edmund Hillary was brought to the hospital after he was reported to have fallen last weekend. According to his daughter in-law, eighty-seven year old Sir Hillary is in good condition and had been grateful for everyone who sent thoughts and best wishes while the mountaineering legend is in the hospital.

This Month, he visited the Himalayas together with the unofficial chronicler of expeditions in the Himalayas for 40 years, Elizabeth Hawley and met the 2007 Supersherpa’s in Katmandu.
