Three Filipino Women, Will Make a Difference

Three Filipino women will scale the 29,035-foot Mt. Everest in May of this year. They will be the first women from Southeast Asian region who will reach the world's highest peak.
Noelle Wenceslao, Carina Dayondon and Janet Belarmino are all from the Philippine Coast Guard who successfully climbed Mount McKinley in Alaska last year. All three have the rank of sea woman first class. They are optimistic to duplicate the feat of the three male Filipino climbers who successfully scaled Mount Everest last year.
Heracleo Oracion, Erwin Pastor Emata and Romy Garduce reached Mount Everest in May last year which made Oracion, the first Filipino climber to scaled the World's highest peak - Mount Everest.
