Former Knox Grammar Student Ready for Final Climb

After summiting the 4,892 meter Vinson Massif in Antarctica last month, twenty-three year old Rex Pemberton is all set for his final climb in his quest to conquer the Seven Summits the highest peak on each of the seven continents.
Pemberton will climb Argentina's Mount Aconcagua this month and if the climb will be successful he will become the youngest Australian to complete the Seven Summits challenge. He will climb solo and unassisted and will start at the base camp of Mount Aconcagua.
The former Knox Grammar student is expected to be in Australia on December 29 after his climb and hopes to celebrate New Year's Eve with his family.
