A climber is set out to climb the Himalayan Peaks wearing a kilt. A kilt is a tailored garment wrapped around the wearer’s body at the waist, hanging down encircling and covering the upper part of the legs above the knees.

Winchester Woman Falls from Nelson Rocks Preserve |

A Winchester woman mis-stepped and fell almost 150 feet while climbing at Nelson Rocks County Preserve in Pendleton County, West Virginia.
Amanda Joy Crawford, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was using the proper safety equipment, but unhooked one of her lines to go around a tree, according to police reports.

Climber Rescued from Mount Hood |

A 19-year old climber was rescued Sunday when he was stranded on a dangerous section of the snow and ice-covered Mount Hood in Oregon.
The climber was working his way up the old chute portion of the mountain, just above Crater Rock, at around 10, 800 feet, when he lost his crampons.
Another person in the area heard his scream for help and called 911.
