Primal Quest at the starting gate
FRIDAY, 23 JUNE 2006
The fourth annual Primal Quest endurance race will get underway in Utah beginning June 25 with 89 teams officially entered for the competition.
Primal Quest is an endurance sport competition that requires both men and women to work as a team. Coed teams of four will race 24 hours a day for up to ten days, across a grueling 600-plus kilometer course requiring trekking, mountaineering, horseback riding, canyoneering, mountain biking, whitewater swimming, paddling, and day and night navigation.
More than a competition, Primal Quest is a demanding journey in which finishing is a monument to perseverance, and winning an exceptional achievement.
