Missing Hikers Rescued
TUESDAY, 27 JUNE 2006
An Issaquah woman and a pair of hikers from Seattle were rescued from being stranded on Mount Daniels by members of Kittitas Country Sheriff's office.
Dulce Herrera, 46, of Issaquah was reported missing at 11 p.m. Friday. She was last seen on a steep terrain with thick trees and brush above the snow line. She was spotted by a helicopter three miles north of where she was reported last seen around 2:30 in the afternoon of Sunday.
Two other hikers in the area were also located during the search for Herrera.
