Mukherjee Flags in Army Expeditions |

Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee flagged-in two successful Army expeditions to Mount Cho Oyu and Bhagirathi today.

Bodies of Missing Climbers Found on Mt.Kangaroo |

A search team sent by French Embassy in Kathmandu found the bodies of nine climbers who had gone missing in a massive avalanche at Mt. Kangaroo more than 8 months ago.
Climbers from a French expedition on October last year had been lost in an avalanche - seven French and 15 Nepalis. Only four of them returned safely.

Missing Hikers Rescued |

An Issaquah woman and a pair of hikers from Seattle were rescued from being stranded on Mount Daniels by members of Kittitas Country Sheriff's office.
