Mt Maculot (Maculod/Makulot) in Cuenca, Batangas, Philippines. Is a 2000-feet volcanic rock wall. Last time I was here was Feb of this year with friends. Though it wasn't my first time, I still find myself overwhelmed by the breathtaking view. it is said to be a part of Taal Volcano's crater.

Mt Daguldol in San Juan, Batangas. It was summer when we went (April 2006) there, it was scorching hot! Soothed ourselves after lazing about La Luz Beach Resort!!! Very beautiful!

Mt. Pulag (or Mt. Pulog) was a two-day climb for us. It is the second-highest mountain in the Philippines. Its peak is the borders of two provinces - Benguet, Ifugao and Nueva Vizcaya. It is considered a sacred place by the Benguet locals.

Yes, yes, I agree. Definitely not for heavy smokers, if not entirely for smokers at all. Glad to know you like the place. What other places in the Philippines have you visited?

Mt.pulag is probably the most popular in the northern Philippnes area. Probably its because its the second highest peak also. This would be the perfect mountain to climb as well for oldtimers and rookies because there aren't any crazy hanging on rock type obstacles. Its a long walk up!
Theres a lot of natural bonsai plants along the way. Other than Pulag, there's so much more one can discover in this part of the Philippines. The Banue rice terraces, ifugao rice fields and the chico river in Kalinga. All are superb! Definitely a must see if you're in the Philippines. My dad took me there and i loved it. The culture, the people, the landscapes. wow! dazzling place!
