Hello, im getting in nepal in the 10 of september and got time until the 6 of october. i was wondering of any suggestion for some "trekking" routes.
i thought about circut from Dhunche to Kianjing Gompa and back to Dhunche trought Ganja La Pass.
my question is, if on that time of the year there is need for mountaineering equipment for the pass. i have a good tent and sleeping bag and warm clothes. but i dont have any mountaineering equipment such as ropes, ice axe. crampons and etc.
i have a little mountaineering exprince (i did some course a year ago) but i do hike/trek alot.
just wonder if it will be smart going over without a guide and that equipment.
if anyone got any suggestion on trekking in nepal please let me know. im looking for more remote and less crowded places and dont mind a challange.
also wonder if theres any place in katmandu to hire epirb/PLB?
thanks,
saar
