Do you wear liners?
What type of glove/mitten do you wear? The only time my fingers really get cold is when i am on the ice. I lead with sealskin gloves because they are thin and I can manipulate screws better. When I get back down i put my frozen mitts into my Randonee gloves and about 5 agonizing minutes later my hands are warm and I'm ready to do it all over again. This is fun right? try wiggling your fingers as soon as they start to feel cool. Also, ypou could try those hand warmer things....Hot Hands? I think. Hope this helps.

I don't think there's any miracle cure for cold hands. In my experience, it's not so much the thickness of the glove or mitten, but rather maintaining circulation. Try to get your hands below your heart before they get too cold, and wiggle your fingers to keep the blood flowing. Try to avoid stuff that impedes circulation, like leashes and shoulder straps, or at least try to loosen them from time to time to allow blood to flow. Other than that, just think of all the character you're building! That should warm you up some!

The only thing I could suggest and I guess proven by many to be effective is "exercise and right food". Men I tell you it all boils down to health.

check out the insulation material your glove is made of, some gloves are designed to specifically be warmer than traditional ones..
