GoLite's innovative products come out of an uncompromising, clean-slate design approach that seeks to achieve the highest possible performance in a product for a given weight. Before a product is even designed, we look at the end use, ergonomics, the stresses and the environment it will endure, and style. Features are added to a product thoughtfully and always with functionality at top of mind.
We seek out unusual materials from our own and other industries and combine and apply them in unique ways. We also search high and low for fabrics and materials that are pushing the edge of what is chemically and structurally feasible in terms of strength-to-weight ratios. Watertight zippers, easy-grab siliconized zipper pulls, and super-durable 20 stitch-per-inch flat lock seams are just some of the details you'll find in our clothing. We place maniacal levels of bar tacking and x-box stitches in our packs and shelters to reinforce stress points. We even build functionality into normally purely aesthetic components.
