Lhotse
At 8516 meters, Lhotse is the world's fourth highest mountain. It is located near Mount Everest. This is why Lhotse is sometimes identified as a peak of Everest.

In 1956, Ernst Reiss and Fritz Luchsinger of a Swiss expedition were the first to climbed Lhotse Main, while Lhotse Shar was first climbed by Sepp Mayerl and Rolf Walter in 1979.
