Lenin Peak (7,134m), Pamir mountains, Kyrgyzsatn

Lenin Peak is one of the highest summits of the Pamirs, is located in the middle of the Zaalaiski ridge and is administratively attributed to the Chon-Alai district of the Osh region of Kyrgyzstan. Lenin Peak is a large rocky massif completely covered with ice and snow stretching from the Krylenko Pass (5,820m) in the east to Razdelnaya mountain (6,148m) in the west. A lot of glaciers move down the northern and southern slopes of Lenin Peak. The largest of them are Lenin Glacier (length 13.5 km., glaciation area 55.3 km2). The summit of Lenin Peak towers at 3,000m over the amphitheatre of the Lenin Glacier.

Two world's giant mountain systems - Tien-Shan and Pamir - are located in Central Asia.

Cycling  BTW 03. By bike along the Great Silk Road

A fascinating historical-cognitive adventure tour passes along the southern-east part of one of the greatest Asian deserts - the Kyzyl-Kum Desert (Red sand). You will see most ancient and still young cities - Samarkand, Bukhara and Shakhrisabz, visiting round their world-known architectural monuments; get acquainted with the original way of life and traditions of the local people. Wild nature of deserts and mountains is waiting for you. You will pass over the places where through the Great Silk Road once ran, visit places and sites connected to the name of Tamerlane.

The bicycle tour is full of exotics, adventures, legends and oriental hospitality.
The length of the active part of the route is 500 km.
The best time for biking is: May to October.
Fishing  
Quick mountain rivers, hand made channels, Syrdarya and Amudarya rivers, lakes on deserts in association with antique cities – these all are what can be offered to fishing funs. There is a possibility for fishing traditional fish types: ñarp, sazan, pike-perch, catfish and also rare fish species, that live only in Central Asia water reservoirs.
Golf  Tashkent Lakeside Golf Club (TLGC), the first International Championship Course in Central Asia brings world-class golf to newly-emerging C.I.S. area. Situated in the Rokhat Resort area, the course and its modern amenities add a fresh dimension to the region.
The course is conveniently located on the outskirts of Tashkent, a short 15 minute drive away from the city center.
7032-yard long 18-hole golf course provides a challenge to experienced golfers while providing new players ample opportunities to hone their game. The four lakes which surround the course lend a special character to each of the 18 holes.
Winding through lakes and waterfalls, the course creates the feeling in an oasis on the interior plains of Central Asia.
Heli Skiing/Snowboarding  Heliskiing in Uzbekistan. Western Tien-Shan

2. Skiing area. Skiing takes place in the mountains of western Tien-Shan (Ugam, Pskem and Chatkal ranges) just 100 km of Tashkent - the capital of Uzbekistan at the altitude from 2,500m to 4,200 meters above sea level. Amplitude drop for downhill is up to 2 km and the downhills are as long as up to 10 km. Group accommodation plus Helicopter base is in the CIS's popular ski resort of "Chimgan".

3. How to get to ski area. Tashkent International airport accepts all type Aircraft from nearly all countries of the world. You will be met by our representatives at the airport and taken to Chimgan (90 km; 1,5-2 hours drive) where you will have a rest at the hotel. International air tickets are not included in the given price.
Horse Back Riding  TRiW.03 In the lost valleys of Chatkal

This trekking programme is designed for those fans of horse-back riding keen on visiting of picturesque, intact corners of the Nature. The trek takes place in the mountains of Western Tien Shan and covers a vast area including the Kirghiz State Natural sanctuary "Sarychelek".
We start trekking from the orchard-drown Fergana valley, a pearl of Central Asia, through which the Great Silk Road once passed. We head towards unique lengthy mountain valley of the Chatkal River. We will be crossing the Chatkal Range twice over simple passes. We will be riding along in the vicinity of the dominant peak of the area - the Chatkal Peak (4503m), meeting with warm-hearted local Kyrgyz people, learning about their simple semi-nomadic way of life and tasting their local bread and yogurt and drinking their aroma tea. We will be traveling along the mountain streams towards high-land passes, seeing Kyrgyz horses grazing at the alpine meadows, enjoying views of majestic ice-covered peaks and passing through sheer-walled canyons.
The best time for trekking is: June to September.

Rock Climbing  CPA 01. Fan Mountains

Fan Mountains is an integral part of a vast mountain system of Pamir Alai. This mountain region includes such main ranges as Alayskiy, Turkestanskiy, Zeravshanskiy and Karateginskiy. The highest point of Fan Mountains is peak Chimtarga (5,489 m). There are 11 peaks higher than 5,000 m and more than 30 summits above 4,000 m. A number of climbing routes varying by categories of difficulty, stable weather and accessibility of the region combined with simple approaches and well-established infrastructure - all that attracts climbers all over the world. The most suitable time for climbing: June - September.

CPA 02. Pamir verticals,
Aksu-Karavshin

The area of Turkestan Range (of Pamiro-Alai system) reminds South-American Patagonia and is the unique area on the territory of CIS most interesting in terms opportunities for complicated rock climbing. Mild climate, sunny weather, clearest rivers, alpine meadows, glaciers surrounded by the peaks of five thousand meters high helps quick recovery after ascents. At every summit you can make your own original route. The best time for ascent: July -September.
Skiing  Skiing
“Chimgan” and “Beldersay” are popular ski resorts in Uzbekistan and are situated just in 80 km from Taskent – the capital of Uzbekistan on the altitude of 1500 m above sea level in the mountains of South-West Tien-Shan. “Chimgan” is recommended for family rest and for junior skiers. “Beldersay” - for more experienced skiers. Clear air, soft winter climate, picturesque vicinity, long ski fast tracks, comfortable hotels, stable sunny weather, the absence of queues on ski lifts, good conditions for free ride, back country, heliski, picturesque oriental bazaars, traditional Uzbek hospitality, the opportunity to visit Samarkand attract more and more snowboarders and skiers to Uzbekistan every year. Mountain ski season starts in the middle of December and lasts till April.
